 I think we have some real interesting information regarding a nonprofit corporation I recently founded a nonprofit corporation entitled &quot;Fitness 4 All 50 Sate Tour&quot; We will be visiting all 50 states and speaking to over 3,000 schools in the next 2 to 3 years. 

We will cover each state north, south, east, west &amp; center giving presentations to big, medium &amp; small schools cities &amp; towns. We will also hold Health &amp; Fitness Summits for the Mayors, City Council &amp; community leaders of those cities &amp; towns to encourage them to want to help educate the public to build a healthy community. Our tour team will also meet with the Governors &amp; their staffs with the same purpose to show provide them with the information we have so they can have it to help create a healthy state. We are doing this to help change the 2/3 of the nation which is overweight &amp; approximately 20 % of those are obese. It is very important we get the answers, education, and help to motivate our, nation&#039;s youth, school districts, workforce, government local, state, community &amp; state leaders. 

Our nation currently spends around 150 billion dollars on obesity related diseases. By passing on this information that will help people read &amp; understand what fitness activities do and can best help them make better choices to reach their goals of what they would like to be. Also we want to help people understand how to [make the best nutritional choices and how to read labels &amp; now how things work. 
Here is simple explanation of how to read a fitness label to determine the amount of Sugar in a serving:
Say there are 40 grams of sugar per serving in a drink, food item etc. How can anyone visualize how much that would be? There is a formula; “just divide the number of grams of sugar per serving by 4 = 10 tea spoons of simple sugars- For easy explanation this is an easy formula to use that will allow you to put that the sugars in a format that is one easily recognizably to most all Americans. So when they read a label it helps people to covert sugars to a more easily recognized means of measurement in America that represent the # of teaspoons of sugar in that serving. We will be providing the schools we visit with Tips like this and a number of other subjects in the form of a “My Daily Healthy Lifestyle Journal “ which will also contain questions  to answer each day for our school students in their notebooks. So they can not only set their goals for health &amp; Fitness but also keep track of what they are doing as well as finding out what works or doesn’t &amp; eliminate those types of activities or foods that are not working as well for them. Then rate their day according to how well they did in making better choices to become or stay or get healthy and fit.

 As a wheelchair &quot;World Champion Paralympian&quot; I grew up like a normal child went to college and played collegiate sports. I was later injured as a Federal Inspector when the grain elevator I was inspecting in my early to mid 20’s on the Gulf Coach of Texas exploded left 10 dead, over 30 injured and threw me over a 2 story building over 300 feet onto a concrete parking lot. I was not expected to live but after spending a year in the hospital and completely paralyzed from the chest down. After I recovered from a deep depression, I came back to become the &quot;World’s greatest all-around wheelchair Athlete&quot; and one of the top 100 speakers in America. I greatly enjoy helping others like my rugby friends did me after I got out of the hospital they pushed me to workout play medicine ball &amp; most of all they helped me get my life back even though I was completely paralyzed from the chest down. Now I have a great passion to help educate, motivate and inspire our nation’s youth to help provide them the knowledge so they too can get fit and  learn how to eat right and what types of activities can do for them to help them to help them get fit. I have been part of an ebook with my workout &amp; nutrional story of how I got back in world class shape after being thrown over 300 feet landing in a concrete parking lot and almost being left for dead by the Paramedics! Thanks to the God I got a 2nd chance. Excruciating pain swept through Kevin Saunders. It was the last thing – the only thing – that he remembers from the moments before he lost consciousness. When he woke-up, he was face down in a hospital bed with massive internal and external injuries. The doctors told Kevin Saunders there had been an explosion, and while Kevin was injured, ten of his co-workers were dead. Kevin wondered if they had been the lucky ones. The blast had hurled him right through the roof. Kevin Saunders flew up over 300 feet in the sky, over a two-story building and then landed hard in a concrete parking lot. When the paramedics found him, his body was broken over at the chest like most people bend at the waist and blood and cerebral spinal fluid were oozing from his ear, nose and mouth. Kevin Saunders first reaction upon regaining consciousness was an overwhelming fear. Kevin was almost completely immobile with all kinds of tubes and needles poking out of him, and every other second, piercing pain shot through his spine. When the doctors told him that he was a paraplegic, Kevin fell into a massive depression.

Kevin Saunders had always been a very athletic person, and now Kevin couldn&#039;t even get out of bed by himself. He was stripped of his pride and personal dignity, paralyzed from the chest down and left alone to wallow in self-pity. Depression and self-doubt ate Kevin alive, dominating his thoughts and reducing him to a shell of his former self. Kevin Saunders thought that his life was over. It wasn’t only Kevin’s arms and legs that had been rendered immobile, but his spirit had been lost in the blast as well. The reality of it ate at Kevin with every ounce of sense in his body. Kevin Saunders was done.

Except he wasn’t.  
God gave Kevin a second chance and with the help of his Rugby coach and friends who mercilessly trained him with weights and a medicine ball day after day, With determination and a never give up attitude Kevin Saunders rose from those depths to become a top motivational coach, inspirational speaker, corporate speaker, sports speaker, business speaker, school speaker, college speaker, high school football speaker college football speaker and professional football speaker. Kevin is an inspirational athlete and also won the title of the “world’s greatest all-around wheelchair athlete.” Motivational speaker Kevin Saunders was the first person with a disability appointed to the Presidents Council on Physical Fitness &amp; Sports (PCPFS) and was the only person reappointed to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness &amp; Sports by President Bill Clinton.
 Kevin Saunders worked alongside PCPFS chairman, now California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.  George W. Bush appointed Kevin Saunders in 2004 to a special committee working with the PCPFS and HHS to come up with a plan to improve fitness and health for children with disabilities and they created the National Initiative on Physical Fitness for Children and Youth with Disabilities called the “I Can Do It, You Can Do It”.

Kevin was a principal actor and played next to Tom Cruise in the academy award winning movie Born on the 4th of July directed by Oliver Stone. I have been part of an ebook with my workout &amp; nutrional story of how I got back in world class shape after being thrown over 300 feet landing in a concrete parking lot and almost being left for dead by the Paramedics! Thanks to the God I got a 2nd chance. Excruciating pain swept through Kevin Saunders. It was the last thing – the only thing – that he remembers from the moments before he lost consciousness. When he woke-up, he was face down in a hospital bed with massive internal and external injuries. The doctors told Kevin Saunders there had been an explosion, and while Kevin was injured, ten of his co-workers were dead. Kevin wondered if they had been the lucky ones. The blast had hurled him right through the roof. Kevin Saunders flew up over 300 feet in the sky, over a two-story building and then landed hard in a concrete parking lot. By passing on this information that will help people read &amp; understand what fitness activities do and can best help them reach their goals of what they would like to be. Also we want to help people understand how to read labels &amp; now how things work. Say there is 40 grams of sugar in a drink, how can anyone visualize how much that would be? There is a formula; “just divide the number of grams of sugar per serving by 4 = 10 which would represent the # of teaspoons of sugar in that serving. We will be providing the schools we visit with Tips like this and a number of other subjects in the form of a personal accountability journal that has question to answer each day in the students notebook. So they can keep track of what they are doing as well as finding out what works or doesn’t &amp; eliminate those types of activities or foods. <p>When the paramedics found him, his body was broken over at the chest like most people bend at the waist and blood and cerebral spinal fluid were oozing from his ear, nose and mouth. Kevin Saunders first reaction upon regaining consciousness was an overwhelming fear. Kevin was almost completely immobile with all kinds of tubes and needles poking out of him, and every other second, piercing pain shot through his spine. When the doctors told him that he was a paraplegic, Kevin fell into a massive depression.</p>
<p>Kevin Saunders had always been a very athletic person, and now Kevin couldn&#8217;t even get out of bed by himself. He was stripped of his pride and personal dignity, paralyzed from the chest down and left alone to wallow in self-pity. Depression and self-doubt ate Kevin alive, dominating his thoughts and reducing him to a shell of his former self. Kevin Saunders thought that his life was over. It wasn’t only Kevin’s arms and legs that had been rendered immobile, but his spirit had been lost in the blast as well. The reality of it ate at Kevin with every ounce of sense in his body. Kevin Saunders was done.</p>

God gave Kevin a second chance and with the help of his Rugby coach and friends who mercilessly trained him with weights and a medicine ball day after day, With determination and a never give up attitude Kevin Saunders rose from those depths to become a top motivational coach, inspirational speaker, corporate speaker, sports speaker, business speaker, school speaker, college speaker, high school football speaker college football speaker and professional football speaker. I was later injured as a Federal Inspector when the grain elevator I was inspecting sin my early to mid 20’s on the Gulf Coach of Texas exploded left 10 dead, over 30 injured and threw me over a 2 story building over 300 feet onto a concrete parking lot. I was not expected to live but after spending a year in the hospital and completely paralyzed from the chest down. It looks like Dr Suzanne Gudakunst need to talk and work together as I founded a nonprofit corporation entitled &quot;Fitness 4 All 50 Sate Tour&quot; We will be visiting all 50 states and speaking to over 3,000 schools in the next 2 to 3 years. 
Our vision is for our nation’s youth, parents, workforce and Americans to understand the significance of physical fitness and nutrition. By giving presentations to schools and providing them with credible information on how, what, when and why types of activities, sports, balanced nutritional meals, foods and healthy snacks do to them be healthier, so they can are more active have extra energy. To educate, motivate and inspire people of all ages to set and reach for they reach for their fitness goals and for them to make the necessary changes to lead healthier lives. 
We will cover each state north, south, east, west &amp; center giving presentations to big, medium &amp; small schools cities &amp; towns. We will also hold Health &amp; Fitness Summits for the Mayors, City Council &amp; community leaders of those cities &amp; towns to encourage them to want to help educate the public to build a healthy community. Our tour team will also meet with the Governors &amp; their staffs with the same purpose to show provide them with the information we have so they can have it to help create a healthy state. We are doing this to help change the of 2/3 of the nation which is overweight &amp; approximately 20 % of those are obesity. 
Our nation currently spends around 150 billion dollars on obesity related diseases . By passing on this information that will help people read &amp; understand what fitness activities do and can best help them reach their goals of what they would like to be. Also we want to help people understand how to read labels &amp; now how things work. Say there is 40 grams of sugar in a drink, how can anyone visualize how much that would be? There is a formula; “just divide the number of grams of sugar per serving by 4 = 10 which would represent the # of teaspoons of sugar in that serving. We will be providing the schools we visit with Tips like this and a number of other subjects in the form of a personal accountability journal that has question to answer each day in the students notebook. So they can keep track of what they are doing as well as finding out what works or doesn’t &amp; eliminate those types of activities or foods. Then rate their day according to how well they did in making better choices to become or stay healthy and fit.
 As a wheelchair &quot;World Champion Paralympian&quot; I grew up like a normal child went to college and played collegiate sports. I was later injured as a Federal Inspector when the grain elevator I was inspecting sin my early to mid 20’s on the Gulf Coach of Texas exploded left 10 dead, over 30 injured and threw me over a 2 story building over 300 feet onto a concrete parking lot. I was not expected to live but after spending a year in the hospital and completely paralyzed from the chest down. After I recovered from a deep depression, I came back to become the &quot;World’s greatest all-around wheelchair Athlete&quot; and one of the top 100 speakers in America. I greatly enjoy helping others like my rugby friends did me after I got out of the hospital they pushed me to workout play medicine ball &amp; most of all they helped me get my life back even though I was completely paralyzed from the chest down. Now I have a great passion to help educate, motivate and inspire our nation’s youth to help provide them the knowledge so they to can get fit learn how to eat right. Thanks for your interest in Kevin Saunders &quot;World’s Greatest All-around Wheelchair Athlete&quot; First person with a disability to be appointed to the President&#039;s Council on Physical Fitness &amp; Sports by President George H. W. Bush and the only person reappointed by President Bill Clinton. Mr. Saunders was also appointed to a special commission during George W. Presidency to Special Commission by the President&#039;s Council on Physical Fitness and the Department of Health and Human Services to come up with a plan to improve fitness and Health for people with disabilities. Kevin Saunders was commended for his help in the creation of the National Initiative on Physical Fitness for Children and Youth with Disabilities or the I Can Do It, You Can Do It Program. Kevin also starred in an academy award winning movie with Tom Cruise &amp; directed by Oliver Stone. He also worked with Head Coach Bill Snyder&amp; Kansas State University as Motivational Coach in the &quot;Greatest turn-around in college football history&quot; his outstanding dedication to Fitness &amp; Health, after touring through 5 countries in Europe -- pushing his hand-cycle and wheelchair -- promoting health and fitness and meeting with Government Officials, community leaders and many people along the way. Commended for his outstanding contribution to fitness &amp; health by the President&#039;s Council on Physical Fitness &amp; Sports, as well as the American Heart Association and YMCA&#039;s of America, for pushing his racing wheelchair over 2,500 miles across to raise awareness of health and nutrition issues. Now he has founded the &quot;Fitness 4 All 50 State Tour&quot; to help for our nation’s youth, parents, workforce and Americans to understand the significance of physical fitness and nutrition. I had an interesting question this morning on Facebook. Who is Kevin Saunders and why do I want people to support him for this position? So I will answer the best I can.

I first met Kevin in 1999 as he was speaking to a group of high school athletes from Salina, Kansas and the surrounding communities. As a coach and motivational speaker, I was inspired by Kevin&#039;s story. We kept in touch over the years, each providing the other with some motivational ideas through our writings.

Kevin is a truly genuine person. One who cares about our country, our health and fitness, about our youth - and the choices and decisions they make. What better example for our youth than the &quot;Can Do&quot; attitude that Kevin shows each and every day of his life. His remarkable recovery, his rise to prominence in the field of athletics, being named “World’s Greatest all-around Wheelchair Athlete” Being a world champion Paralympian and also being the first person with a disability to be appointed to the President&#039;s Council on Physical Fitness and Sport (first serving under President George HW Bush, and then the only member to be reappointed by President Bill Clinton) Kevin has all the qualifications to successfully lead the PCPFS.

Recently the US Military stated that 75% of eligible young people are either physically, mentally, or morally unqualified to serve in the US Military. Something is wrong there......seriously wrong with the next generation of nation. As for health care reform, everyone agrees that the first step for health care reform is getting our nation healthy again. Kevin could lead an inspired program to do just that.

I had an interesting question this morning on Facebook. Who is Kevin Saunders and why do I want people to support him for this position? So I will answer the best I can.</p>
<p>I first met Kevin in 1999 as he was speaking to a group of high school athletes from Salina, Kansas and the surrounding communities. As a coach and motivational speaker, I was inspired by Kevin&#8217;s story. We kept in touch over the years, each providing the other with some motivational ideas through our writings.</p>
<p>Kevin is a truly genuine person. One who cares about our country, our health and fitness, about our youth &#8211; and the choices and decisions they make. What better example for our youth than the &#8220;Can Do&#8221; attitude that Kevin shows each and every day of his life.
