"I am not a famous person just an average small business owner, husband, and father. I have known Kevin since before his accident, so I have seen him struggle every day with his disability. Every accomplishment he has received has been due to his hard work and dedication. My own children are 7 and 10 years of age, and have only known Kevin in a wheelchair. They do not think anything of his disability. He's just Kevin. An example of how he influences them is when they complain about something, I always respond by asking them about the guy who eats with his feet, or the blind man who works on the computer or Kevin? 'You don't hear him complaining do you? So do your best and never give up.' My children respond to this because they have seen how hard Kevin has to work for everything he has accomplished. What better motivation could any child need, than to see someone else who never gives up?"
