Kansas State University Kicks off Wildcat Way Campaign with Commercial Featuring Kevin Saunders, Top Motivational Speaker & World’s Greatest Wheelchair Athlete

Kevin Saunders has been recognized as one of America’s top motivational speakers and is a former Paralympian and decorated wheelchair athlete. Kevin Saunders is available to bring his inspiring message of triumph over extreme adversity and he’s now booking engagements all over the country. Six commercials featured as part of the Wildcat Way campaign. Saunders stars in one of only two to feature K-State almun. Kevin Saunders is now booking 2014-2015 speaking engagements.

Saunders graduated from Kansas State in 1978 and has worked extensively with the K-State football team, one of the top college football programs in the United States. Saunders worked as motivational coach with Kansas State University football team from 1991 to 2005 under Head Coach Bill Snyder when he orchestrated the “Greatest turnaround in college football history”.

After a brief retirement, Coach Snyder came back to lead the Kansas State University Wildcat football team and again called on one of the top motivational keynote speakers, business speakers & corporate speakers, World Champion Paralympian Kevin Saunders to speak to his team in from 2009-2011.

Before the start of the 2012 season he asked Saunders to come back the summer before the season began to give a speech that would help inspire his student athletes to push past limitations to reach goals and break barriers. Kevin Saunders delivered and Head Coach Bill Snyder asked Kevin if he would come and be with the team at the games and practices to continue his motivation with the student athletes. Saunders was honored to work with the student athletes at Kansas State University football program. During this time Kevin Saunders worked closely with the athletes which included QB Collin Klein, a Heisman Trophy finalist.

Kevin Saunders also worked with the Kansas State University Agricultural Department to help produce a video entitled “Deadly Dust” To improve safety in the workplace. These videos are used by companies worldwide and Kevin Saunders has also been in great demand as a safety speaker, corporate speaker, youth motivational speaker and Christian motivational speaker across America and worldwide. Saunders competed at the Paralymipcs from 1988 to 1996 and has served on the President’s Council of Physical Fitness, Sports and Nutrition for both Presidents Bush and Clinton.

Perseverance

When a series of explosions rocked a grain elevator he was inspecting, Kansas State alumnus Kevin Saunders was launched into a parking lot more than 300 feet away. His body was broken, but his spirit was resilient. Defying all odds, Kevin transformed himself into the World’s Greatest Wheelchair Athlete, a sought-after motivational speaker, and an inspiration to us all.
