Did you know that the more we learn about fitness the easier it is to become fit! I believe my education from high school through college and beyond is the foundation to all my accomplishments. Without a good education, I would have been working with a real handicap!

You may know the expression, “Plan your work and work your plan.” Well in fitness that’s exactly what you need to do. Without a plan we have trouble achieving our goals. We wander down one path or another without any real idea if it will lead to our final destination. That’s true in life and in your quest for physical fitness. You should approach your fitness goals with not only the destination in mind but a solid foundation of fitness knowledge and education. You can buy books, research the web or hire a personal trainer if you feel you could use a little help. You need to know how much cardio you should do and how often. The same applies for your strength training routine. Muscle burns more calories at rest than fat so don’t ignore those muscles! You want a well balanced approach to fitness. Proper nutrition is key with the right balance of vitamins and nutrients. Getting your rest is important as well. Now don’t put off starting your exercise routine because you’re waiting on a book or trainer. Just be sure to include education into your fitness agenda.  Before you know it, you’ll be the fit envy of all your friends and the person they turn to for health and fitness information. Keep coming back to my blog where I’ll be posting more tips and info on health and fitness. While you’re at it, go to my main site at You’ll find more information on my life’s story and can order my books covering motivation, fitness and more.
