Tired of Not Reaching Your Goals?
Commit to Staying Healthy
Staying healthy requires that you commit to eating healthy and working out on a consistent basis, using strength and cardio conditioning. I recommend that you keep a log book, which you use to record your workouts and even rate them on a scale from 1-10. Rate how you felt before your workout, and also after your workout. Note what type of exercise you did, and assign rating to your level of intensity from 1-10. You can also keep track of the duration (30 minutes, 1 hour, etc.) and any comments you feel are important to jot down.
You know you have to allow exercise to become a powerful daily habit because of your life’s work. A workout log like this helps you stay accountable and on track towards your work goals and fitness goals. Plus, over time you can see patterns for what works best for you, both in getting fitness results and in managing the energy you bring to your daily life and career.
Take the time to take care of yourself! Believe me, when you consistently work towards your life’s goals then you’ll find much more relief during your workouts because if you work out consistently towards a purpose, your body will crave it! Just like when you put in focused effort towards your career goals & dreams, your daily actions take on a greater significance that become instrumental in helping you reach your goals. When you put everything into the pursuit of work goals, you might think that you have no spare energy or time for minding your health. However if you can introduce consistent exercise, better nutrition and higher quality of sleep, these simple changes will benefit you in every other area of life. Plus, they work together, so you’ll find that a solid exercise regimen can improve your ability to sleep by helping you reduce stress and release tension from a hard day at work.
Check Your Happiness Meter
The best way to make it to the top is by working at what you are passionate about. To get ahead in life and move towards the top, you must be willing to put forth extraordinary effort. And it takes a “burning desire” paired with tremendous commitment to your goals to do that. Are you the type of person who greatly desires to learn new things every day and does whatever it takes to keep learning and breaking new barriers in your job? Does your career blend well with your goals and your family?
If the answer to some of these questions may be “NO” then you need to define your plans and goals for the coming year by assessing where you are today. If that doesn’t meet the expectations you have for yourself, then find a way to improve them. Then take action on those plans for achieving excellence, regardless of where you are today. You’ll find that staying positive is an essential part of reaching your commitments and making them successful! Keep positive influences around you because they can provide support that lifts you up when you’re struggling in life or at your job.
Have a great mentor, positive people with huge goals to inspire you to reach insurmountable dreams and goals in your life!
I’m sure by now most people have realized that unless the media (TV, internet, magazines, etc.) is helping you reach your goals in a constructive way, such as through new insights or knowledge, these sources might actually be contributing a negative effect.
Do you Want to Achieve Your Ultimate Goals?
To stay on top, it is very important to keep pushing towards your goals every day: Give the people you work with the strength they need to maintain this great success. Give them courage. Give them a reason to believe. That’s how all great leaders became great leaders … they pull those around them up to reach new levels of excellence and achievement that can only be reached through a steadfast commitment to their goals and dreams. And they maintain a focus on Constant and Never-Ending Improvement (CAN-I) as part of their commitment.
You will encounter obstacles and challenges that you don’t overcome every single time, but if you want success it’s critical that you pick yourself back up and confront the next challenge prepared with a better plan and focused effort. You can’t just talk the talk, you have to walk the talk! When you’re out there working hard to make deals & reach goals you have to have courage because people are depending on you. You set the bar for crushing obstacles to find winning solutions, and that will inspire those around you to be their very best. Together every one on your team or in your organization can elevate their impact by committing to their best efforts.
If you’re going to have Dreams & Goals, why not make them HUGE Dreams & Goals?
If you have BIG dreams and goals, then criticism is almost unavoidable! Learn to take it in a positive way.
Look at criticism as a review, a study or merely just an observation. Then this allows you to deal with whatever was said or done in a positive way. Who knows, you may even find a way to let it make you a stronger & better person because you learned from it. Stay focused on your goals, stay positive and allow criticism to strengthen you by bringing your driving force and courage to pursue your life’s mission. Always remember the further you stray from your mission and purpose in life, the more out of sync your life’s energy will be. Your life’s purpose begins with your dreams. Visualize yourself as a Champion and reach your full potential.
